Brilliant Group acquired the project from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and established Shanghai Xingbo Inc. We worked cooperatively to produce the Mitsubishi GT series OHV air-cooled four-stroke gasoline general engine includes the GT241 (2.4 HP), GT400 (4 HP), and GT600 (6 HP). Shanghai Xingbo Inc. became the exclusive certified manufacturer to produce GT series engine other than Japan.

Brilliant had three production lines. The first two lines were used for gasoline engines and the third line was used for generators and water pumps assembly with total 750,000 production capacity annually. We introduced a full set of assembly line, test laboratory, manufacturing process, production management and quality control procedures designed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Japanese-based senior engineers by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries were dispatched and resident at our facility, responsible for the entire process of production and guidance of manufacturing, technical concern, management and quality to ensure that product quality reached world-class level.

Brilliant designed and manufactured the commercial grade generators, water pumps, pressure washers powered by Mitsubishi GT series engines. Our products have been exported around the world because of our outstanding customer satisfaction.

We started to manufacture the high-power Mitsubishi GT series engine GT1000 (10HP) and GT1300 (13HP). GT1000 reduction engine was the first 10HP internal reduced engine designated for agricultural usage. Its outstanding performance and durability received numerous praise from the entire industry.

The Patent Technology Transfer Agreement was signed and became effective between Brilliant and Mitsubishi in 2009. Brilliant acquired and solely owned complete GT series engines (GT241, GT400, GT600, GT1000, GT1300), including parts design, drawings, technology, manufacturing and R&D. Brilliant started to manufacture our own BRILLIANT GT series engines in January 2015. All products comply with CE & EU Stage II, EPA Phase 3 & CARB, and Chinese National Emission Stage II. Therefore, Brilliant became the only manufacturer who owns the technology patent of commercial grade engines in China.
